Tat2X Interview with Tattooed Model Cherry Dollface

Tat2X: How long have you been involved in modeling?
Cherry Dollface: I’ve been modeling since 2005.
Tat2X: What made you decide to become a model?
Cherry Dollface: I started modeling in 2005 when a photographer snapped a photo of me at Viva that ended up on the cover of Ol Skool Rodz.
Tat2X: Tell us about your best experience as a model?
Cherry Dollface: I booked a job in the Bahamas in 2008. It was really fancy and I got to spend the weekend with a great group of girls! I will never forget the experience.
Tat2X: Tell us about your worst experience as a model?
Cherry Dollface: Probably working with bad makeup artists. Dipping their fingers into makeup, reusing eyelashes, using the same mascara on everyone. It was before I knew better and now it totally grosses me out!
Tat2X: What’s your favorite tattoo style?
Cherry Dollface: I don’t think I have one favorite style. I like things that are delicate and feminine.
Tat2X: Are there any artists or people in your life that inspire you?
Cherry Dollface: I get most of my inspiration from the people that are close to me. My husband, my mom and my friends.
Tat2X: Do you have a favorite tattoo on your body?
Cherry Dollface: I love my back piece. It is my biggest and in my opinion my prettiest piece.
Tat2X: Do you plan to get any more tattoos?
Cherry Dollface: No plans for more large tattoo pieces. I am thinking about getting a piece on my forearm lasered off so I can start again.
Tat2X: Where did you grow up?
Cherry Dollface: Portland, OR
Tat2X: What kind of music do you like to listen to… be honest?
Cherry Dollface: Everything! Seriously. I listen to tons of soul music, Doowop, ska, old punk, hardcore, big band, old school rap, r&b, I even love top 40 pop music. I saw Britney Spears in Las Vegas a few years ago and it was amazing!
Tat2X: What are your favorite foods?
Cherry Dollface: I pretty much love everything except seafood and onions. Some of my favorites are Mexican, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, fried chicken and mashed potatoes! Give me all of the food!
Tat2X: What do you do to relax when you’re not working?
Cherry Dollface: Try not to work! It is really hard when you are self employed. But I love to read and plan relaxing vacations. I’m going to Mexico in January with my husband.
Tat2X: Is there anything else we should know about you?
Cherry Dollface: I am really pretty normal!
